Today is my lucky day. I was post-call with sleepless night yesterday.
So many referral until all my ICU beds are occupied, and no ventilator available if any of my patients going to collapse.
After my morning ward round and clinic, I when to TNB office during lunch hour, which is situated just behind my hospital. I was very unhappy with the "Q" as there are another 97 customers ahead of me, waiting to pay their bills. Last time i paid my electrical bill was 2 months ago, and it took me an hour at the same office. To my surprise, an unknown lady, walked towards me and passed me the "Q" ticket, numbered 1525, different of 36!!!. I just spent about half an hour to wait for my turn. I have never experienced such thing before. After i pay my bill, i passed my ticket to an old lady, walking with a stick, holding a ticket numbered 1615. She asked me " You do not need this?" I just smiled and left the office.....
