New Federal Cabinet Line-up For Malaysia

Bravo to our PM. He was given an option by rakyat to choose new faces.... and he did it...no senator post for those not chosen during last general election.

Now everyone in the cabinet need to declare their assets. I do hope to see the declaration posted in the net.....so rakyat can inform our PM if otherwise...

Yes, it is the best time to clear our adminstration from corruption.

The opposition is clearly have been stating many ideas and suggestion, reflecting the aspiration and needs of the rakyat. This need to be taken into consideration by PM's adminstration.

All the best to our PM and all the cabinet members.

Big Shock For the Nation

This is one of the biggest defeat for the coalition of BN. However the federal government is still belongs to BN with just 8 seats away from 2/3 majority. It is the time to consolidate the effort in the development of the country based on the the different roles of Federal and States government. The coalition of BN should not take the defeat as the sign of rejection from the citizens for further development in the country. It is just a response to many unresolved issues during past 4 years.

Again, everyone in the coalition should start their effort into getting members who have the capability of a leader. Just merely depends on the popularity of an individual within a party is not enough as this just not always means the person is well accepted within a community.

For parliamentary seat, candidate should be chosen among those with a proven academic qualification and many track records in the communities services. As the government is already aware of the importance to get the best brain to serve for the country, they also must try to get them to be part of the coalition. This is to ensure the best of the best are running the government's administration. We just can't always ask directly from the citizens of what they want as this just show the incapabilities of the MPs within the government to think and act in behalf of the citizens.

The states should be represented by the local people preferably. Those selected must be genuinely involved in the communities he represented. The development within his community must the main agenda for each state representative. He must be allowed to voice out the demands of the local community and not been suppressed to act differently based on the order or direction from the federal state.

Many unresolved local issues have been tackled without much concern on the satisfaction of the parties involved. Just for example, when an issue involving the Chinese community, the state government which is headed by a member representing different community did not show their concern at all. And all the issues need to be forwarded to the Chinese based party like MCA for them to get assistance. This will eventually make a citizen to feel the representative chosen is not a neutral person who will help all the people within his parliamentary or state area, and they still need to go back to they party representing them. This is not a good practice as will just splits us based on our race, and not as a Malaysian.

Again, need to understand our ultimate aim is to develop our country into a developed nation based on own our criteria. So when certain changes which will involve the citizens, comparison need to be made based on the changes within the communities itself, and not with other countries with different currency and socio-economic status.

Current government need to find out the real problem faced by the communities whenever a change in the price of essential items been imposed. The representative within the coalition may not able to tell the real story as they may be living in a much more luxury way though they are living within a poor community they represented. Government also needs to study the implication of any changes especially involving high cost of livings within the poorer group of citizens so more accurate adjustment can be made.

The losses are not only involved the poor communities but also the urbanized. There are not so much affected by the price rise but more that that. Most of them are exposed to many informations other that those projected by the government. The dissatisfaction mainly based on the figures shown the mismatching of the income and the money spent. Government can improve this by doing more to fight against corruption. Now there is nothing to loss by acting more seriously against corruption as the fear of losing support is not an issue anymore with the big defeat. Also government must be able to counter the allegations by becoming more transparent in their spending, and produce reasonable explanation that can be understand and accepted by the people. People will not concern so much on figures projected by the opposition if their livings are not affected.

Do hope the opposition will be able to give constructive input to the ruling government so the peoples' aspiration and the development of the nation are always be their priority. If they are really good, and have more capable people to help the ruling government in bringing our country into a better future, they will eventually be accepted as an useful parties that can help to shape our future. The wins by the opposition have yet prove the success of them to lead the people but merely because the rejection of the current government by the people.

A reply from PM

Thank you for your reply. Although the reply may be computer generated, it is very much appreciated. Our beloved PM has done so much to get close to his dear citizens. This is one of the example besides many other channels such as direct email via PM website, greetings card to Malaysians during festive seasons and etc. Current economic issues are something difficult to tackle due to the changes in the global market. However strengthened ringgit against US dollar do help to reduce our burden. The improved civil services and economic growths are the success brought by him, and we should give him ample of time to bring us to a better future. Corruption in our country already becoming a chronic disease, incurable since our independence. However, he did showed his serious consideration and actions against corruptions. I do hope Malaysians will give him more time to fight against corruption which really make our country poorer and retard our economic growth. I don't believe the opposition is more capable in doing this as most of them did not prove to us they can do better when they were in the government, either federal or state.

A day Before Polling

Again more surprises spotted while using hospital's server to find out latest news on election today. Most major newspapers and BN component parties' website are blocked!!! But the opposition's websites are not....

So government is indeed bias.......

Development of the Nation

I found this website (http://www.sediagempur.net/index.php) after reading "Thestar" newspaper today. So i decided to write something to give my opinion. Below are my comments (written in BM)
