Politicians: Please do not split us

Enough is enough, to all politicians who practise single race protection in the ideology of their political interest... Please stop doing that. You all are the culprit who split Malaysians from being one identity. There is no way we can live as Bangsa Malaysia if racial sentiment is continuously used by those uncivilized politicians. Not only that, it will take much more longer for us to achieve better standard of livings with the irresponsible leaders who just care about their position and monetary interest. And you all may be the persons who will bring destruction to the unity preserved for the past 50 years. Bravo to our DYMM Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin , who correctly reminded those sitting in the parliament to put nation interest above their political gain. For the sake of Malaysia, please reform yourself, free yourself from hatred, bias, unfairness towards any particular races.
More than 30 years living as Malaysian, in a Malay-populated area, schooling in a national school where the percentage of non-Malay are much less than the national figure, i never come across any racial-related issue. Generally, Malaysians in those areas where i stayed before, such as Shah Alam, Johor Bahru, Kuala Pilah, or even Kota Bharu, they are living in harmony without any major racial problem. They do not have fear or doubtfulness when deal or interact with each others.
But, when we come close to our politicians, the frontline people who suppose to protect the unity of the nation, we keep hearing from them issues of unfairness to their own race. If we are not smart enough, we may be fooled by them in believing whatever they said. This is just as danger as so called "ajaran sesak" in the country. You may redefine your definition of any phrases voiced, the bottom line is the general perception of it cannot be changed. Do engage with people who really love unity, who have the wisdom in dealing with community especially their feelings, to filter any phrases or act you may think the most appropriate one when dealing with "rakyat".
